Printed
sheets are delivered under positive control
The printed
sheets are gently and evenly jogged
at all speeds. Daylight fluorescent
light on the delivery piles permits
close inspection while running. A sheet-catcher
lets the pressman remove a sheet for
off-press examination without stopping
production. The delivery pile lowers
automatically, and a limit switch stops
the press when the pile is full.
Stream
feeder
Eagle’s
unique stream feeder ensures safe paper/board
feeding. The sheet is separated from
the back of the pile and is lifted by
two suckers. A double sheet detector
trips of the machine in case more than
one sheet is fed at a time.
Simplified
impression control
Setting the correct
pressure between the blanket and impression
cylinder is simply a matter of adjusting a
calibrated control with a corresponding scale,
to suit the thickness of the stock. It’s
another Eagle fast make-ready feature.
All running, fine tuning
is handled by fingertip controls including
feeder and pull guide, impression, inking
and dampening and delivery pile adjustments.
A control panel at the delivery, where
the pressman normally monitors the printed
product, duplicates main control functions
to inch forward and back or stop the
press or trip the impression.
Tape slow-down
provides extra register time
Produce
quality multicolour printing with confidence:
When it comes to
dot-for-dot printing fidelity, nothing beats
an EAGLE. A good operator can quickly reproduce
the plate’s image faithfully- whether
it involves solids, halftones, reverses or
fine highlights. You’ll get the quality
your customers will appreciate…the kind
that brings them back for more.
Plate
mounting and positioning is extremely fast
and accurate
One Allen
wrench is all you need to mount and
position the plates. With it you can
move a plate sideways or cock it if
necessary. Scribe lines on the cylinders
speed-up plate positioning and clamping.
A separate plate cylinder adjustment
permits calibrated positioning of each
plate backward or forward.
Full
width ink fountains drop away for easy cleaning
The ink fountains are
25” wide, with 25 ink screws in
‘no-stick’ brass inserts,
numbered to correspond with the scale
on the delivery guard. The fountains
drop away for easy cleaning. A fullwidth
automatic washup device is standard
equipment. It snaps in place with two
levers, and cleans the roller fast.
Each 20-roller inking
system includes three large form rollers
of varying diameters for superior ink
distribution. Copper plated riders and
oscillators that minimise emulsification
and two scavenger rollers that pick
up about 80% of the paper dust that
usually causes hickeys. Both the ink
feed and the dampening controls are
stepless, making it easy to achieve
the right balance quickly.
It’s
compact, and built for long life
The base of Eagle is made
of graded cast iron, properly seasoned
to give maximum strength and no vibration
even at maximum speed. The gears of
Eagle are made of hardened steel alloy
for ensuring long life. Proper involute
life is given by grinding them to ensure
long life, noiseless and perfect motion
of all three cylinders. The plate and
blanket cylinders run in bearer contact
to ensure fine dot reproduction
Lubrication
System
Best quality, self 3 phase
motor with timer mechanism for its reoperation
after three optioned selector switch,
pressure regulator, digital level indicator
on board and switch, for giving a blast
of lubrication while starting the machine
and oil tank of 3/5 lts. of capacity.
Oil is fed in the machine after double
filtration before pumping and through
metering cartridges for controlling
the discharge of oil at different points
as per requirement.
